John C. Hood was buried last week at his home at Jefferson, Clinton County. He was eighty six years old and death was due to a heavy fall on the ice on Feb. 2. He was a resident of Crawfordsville about fifty years ago, and was the father of Lida Hood Talbot, the well known elocutionist. - thanks to "S"
